CD PRICES and ORDERING

Dear Customer,

our ordering system is completely manual, that means we don't offer an automated shopping basket into which you can click the CDs of your interest. Whichever items you wish to order from us and pay by credit card, you will have to go to our secure order form online located at https://www.polishmusic.ca/skok/secure and specify the items in the comment section (comment field) of the form. The order form itself also explains how to correctly place an order. Simply go to https://www.polishmusic.ca/skok/secure and check what steps are to take to finalize the ordering procedure.

Beside ordering online via credit card, you can order by credit card via fax or letter mail. If not using a credit card you can order by E-mail, fax, phone or letter mail.

When ordering online: after having submitted an order you will instantly view a confirmation screen ("thank you" screen), summarizing all elements of your order - ordered items and personal data submitted. Within 1 - 4 business days we will get back to you with the status of your order and will start to process it accordingly. Your credit card will not be charged until 2 - 4 business days prior to the actual shipment.

To place an order, choose the CDs of your interest and:

1) when ordering via credit card, use our sercure online order form, or fax us at: (613) 741 5954, or send us a letter via real mail (your credit card will not be charged until 2-4 business days prior to the actual shipment).
Please note: when placing an order via fax or letter, please, specify all data as required on our order form located at: https://www.skok.ca. The simplest way is to print out a blank order form and fill it out manually, or before printing filling all non sensitive data and the rest (sensitive data: credit card details) filling out manually. We will gladly secure specific items

2) when wishing to pay via personal cheque, money order, certified cheque or Western Union money transfer, e-mail us at: skok@polishmusic.ca, or call at (613) 741 0613 or write a letter to the following address:

Please do not send any money or cheque in advance, prior to having received a detailed e-mail invoice from us.

When specifying the selections of your choice, please indicate full name of the artist, title of the selection and the code number attached to this particular catalogue item ( from the column "kod" / "code" - usually the first column on the left).
Upon receipt of your order submission form or E-mail we will send you all additional info pertaining to your order (including the prices of your selections in case they are not indicated on a specific page, yet).

However, please check this page thoroughly to obtain all info about the ordering process and our store policy. Unfortunately, we do not have resources to reiterate information, displayed on this page, in E-mails to each individual customer. Only questions regarding more specific issues (and regarding the order) will be given priority and answered on individual basis.

Any other questions, related to CDs already discontinued (and displayed as such on our pages) or not related to the content of our website will not be responded to. We receive high numbers of E-mails everyday, asking for info we simply do not have.

Once you make the final decision about items of your choice and shipping method for your package, let us know about it - do not mail a cheque or money order. We will E-mail you the availability status of requested CDs and information how we will proceed with your order + a detailed invoice. Having received this from us, you can send a cheque or money order.

Therefore, another parcel with the same content (or indemnity) will be rendered to the claiming customer after 60-90 days from the day of reporting the loss to us. We apologize for such a long time interval. This is, however, a new regulation of Canada Post and we have to strictly comply with it.

* In case of a lost or damaged Express International or Puro Pack parcel, another parcel with the same content (or indemnity) is rendered after 3 weeks from the day of reporting the loss or damage to us.

* Responsibility and Insurance: "Skok" is responsible only for the level of insurance assigned to a specific shipping mode. If the value of a parcel exceeds the level of insurance, we will indemnify only for the insured portion of the parcel. For example, in case of loss or damage of an air mail parcel containing 8 CDs we will indemnify for up to CAD 100.00 (equaling approx. USD 95.00). In case of a lost or damaged air mail parcel containing 2 CDs we will indemnify for the full value of both CDs as long as they do not exceed CAD 100.00 (equaling approx. USD 95.00). In case of fully insured shipping modes, full value of the parcel will be indemnified, whatever the real value of it was.

* Damaged or lost parcels to Australia, Europe, Israel and Japan, however, occur very rarely (only 4 cases in the last 6 years).

Payments:

Payments can be made by personal cheques*, money orders, postal money orders, drafts, certified cheques, travelers cheques and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Western Union money transfers are also welcome.
Direct deposits onto our bank account are available in Canada only.

Upon receipt of a cheque we forward it to the bank within 1-3 working days and after having it cleared the merchandise is being shipped (delivered to our postal outlet) within 2 - 4 business days.
*If any of your selections is temporarily out of stock, we will not charge your credit nor deposit your cheque until we will have the backordered title restocked and ready for shipping, unless you wish the available (in stock) part of your order to be shipped immediately. Credit cards are being charged only 1-3 working days prior to the actual shipment.

The cheque or money order (no matter what kind) is deposited only when we have the CDs ready to ship, unless you wish otherwise.

If some items are out of stock or temporarily unavailable you can either request the shipment of CDs now available or wait for the remaining part of your order to arrive in our store. If less CDs can be shipped than originally paid by the cheque, the difference is returned to the customer on our US money order (or on cheque within Canada) along with the shipment.

In case of an order, where the customer decides to cancel the order or requests return of his payment after all arrangements have been made and merchandise prepared for the shipment on time we charge a restocking fee in amount of 25% of the entire shipment value if below USD 50.00, 15% of the entire shipment value if over USD 50.00
In case of doubts we also reserve the right how to make the refund: by cheque, money order or via credit card only.

* Personal cheques from Australia, Europe, Latin America, South Africa, Japan and other regions of the World clear within 10-30 business days (the time length depends on the bank the cheque originates from)

* Personal cheques from USA clear within 12-18 business days

* Personal cheques from Canada clear within 2 - 4 business days.

* Personal cheques and Money Orders from countries other than USA and Canada have to be issued in the currency of their own country and drawn on a bank from this country (country of the currency and country of the bank have to be the same). Such personal cheques (i.g. Eurocheques) can not be issued in American or Canadian Dollars, since cashing them is too expensive (high collection fees of up to Can $ 100.00 per cheque). From Europe we now accept Euro currency.

* Money orders from USA can not contain the following clause: "Negotiable only in the U.S. and possessions", such money orders can not clear from a Canadian bank. US Postal Service money orders usually contain such a clause, please check before issuing a money order.

After a cheque clears the merchandise is sent out within 2 - 4 next business days.

Money orders, drafts and any kind of certified cheques from major American, Canadian, European and Australian banks are cleared within 2-6 business days. Those from small and unknown banks are put on hold until cleared (usually 15 - 20 business days).

Cheques or money orders made payable to "SKOK" are not processed. We return them along with CD shipments only (not by a separate letter), after receiving a correctly issued cheque or money order.

*	in case of a lost Surface, Air mail and International parcel, Canada Post requires 60 -90 days from the day of placing the claim to search for and establish the status of such a parcel. Therefore, another parcel with the same content (or indemnity) will be rendered to the claiming customer after 60-90 days from the day of reporting the loss to us. We apologize for such a long time interval. This is, however, a new regulation of Canada Post and we have to strictly comply with it.
*	In case of a lost or damaged Express International or Puro Pack parcel, another parcel with the same content (or indemnity) is rendered after 3 weeks from the day of reporting the loss or damage to us.

*	Please note: the delivery times above, for surface and air mail, are only our estimates based on previous experience and can vary, depending on the destination and time of the year. However, they usually stay within the quoted time limits. The time of delivery is to be counted from the day of shipment, not from the day of order placement.
*	Responsibility and Insurance: "Skok" is responsible only for the level of insurance assigned to a specific shipping mode. If the value of a parcel exceeds the level of insurance, we will indemnify only for the insured portion of the parcel. For example, in case of loss or damage of an air mail parcel containing 8 CDs we will indemnify for up to CAD 100.00 (equaling approx. USD 95.00). In case of a lost or damaged air mail parcel containing 2 CDs we will indemnify for the full value of both CDs as long as they do not exceed CAD 100.00 (equaling approx. USD 95.00). In case of fully insured shipping modes, full value of the parcel will be indemnified, whatever the real value of it was.
*	Damaged or lost parcels to Australia, Europe, Israel and Japan, however, occur very rarely (only 4 cases in the last 6 years).


*	Personal cheques from Australia, Europe, Latin America, South Africa, Japan and other regions of the World clear within 10-30 business days (the time length depends on the bank the cheque originates from)
*	Personal cheques from USA clear within 12-18 business days
*	Personal cheques from Canada clear within 2 - 4 business days.
*	Personal cheques and Money Orders from countries other than USA and Canada have to be issued in the currency of their own country and drawn on a bank from this country (country of the currency and country of the bank have to be the same). Such personal cheques (i.g. Eurocheques) can not be issued in American or Canadian Dollars, since cashing them is too expensive (high collection fees of up to Can $ 100.00 per cheque). From Europe we now accept Euro currency.
*	Money orders from USA can not contain the following clause: "Negotiable only in the U.S. and possessions", such money orders can not clear from a Canadian bank. US Postal Service money orders usually contain such a clause, please check before issuing a money order.
